NIEA’s Virtual Convention and Trade Show is the nation’s premier event for bringing together educators, tribal leaders, advocates, parents, students, and other stakeholders to discuss and determine the future of native education. This 3-day event explores education research, policy, advocacy, teaching and learning pedagogies, assessments, and other critical topics that ultimately increase educational opportunities for our American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian students.
Our theme — Achieving Educational Equity Through Classroom, School and Community Transformation — recognizes that, through our collective efforts, we can transform the educational experience for our Native students and create true equity in classrooms, school districts and communities.
We are looking forward to having you join us as we gather together to learn from national and world-renowned scholars, recognize and honor the outstanding achievement of Native educators, and partake in local cultural traditions through virtual events and celebrations. See you in October!
