Located in East Hampton, New York, the Ross School was founded in 1991 by Courtney and Steven J. Ross. They recognized that preparing students to meet the challenges of the 21st century required innovative models that could transform education.
The Ross School prepares its students to be global citizens. By the time students graduate, they will have a long history of studying other cultures and working side-by-side with children and adults of other nations.
2002-2003 enrollment: 288 students; 12 girls and 12 boys in each grade five through eight and 48 co-ed students in each of the high school grades nine through twelve;
All students live at home and commute daily to the campus;
In its final design, the School will expand to become a school with students ranging from preschool through twelfth grade.
