Widefield School District 3 is a Pre-K—12 public school district located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, near national forests and a wide range of outdoor opportunities. The district includes 8 elementary schools, 1 K-8 school, 3 junior highs, 3 high schools, and a preschool. Widefield offers elementary focus schools, a K-12 online program, award-winning music, and JROTC programs, and advanced placement, dual college credit, and STEM courses to prepare our students for higher education.
Health and well-being in a community atmosphere is a focus, as Widefield is the only district in the state to own and operate a Park and Recreation Center offering fitness classes, recreational sports and activities for youth and adults, year-round swimming, and a public library. Our district also boasts its own Health and Wellness Center and a Credit Union for employees and dependents. Widefield’s enrollment has steadily increased as our community expands over its 59 square miles of unincorporated area.
