Mission of The Evergreen School The Evergreen School challenges and nurtures highly intelligent, creative children, fostering responsibility, love of learning and self-esteem. We offer an enriched curriculum combining innovative educational techniques with independent and small, flexible group learning. An independent school in Shoreline, Washington, The Evergreen School is for highly capable children grades Pre-K through 8. We offer four foreign languages as well as employ specialists in music, art, physical education and computers. Our 4+ acre campus includes wetlands, forested areas and an outdoor classroom, dovetailing with Evergreen's strong focus on environmental education. Our highly-developed multi-cultural curriculum begins in Pre-Kindergarten and culminates with a overseas field study for graduating 8th graders. Overall, Evergreen's program surrounds students wtih a supportive community through their formative years to deliver condident, well-rounded individuals into the world.
