MISSION
We are a learning community united by great teachinghigh academic standards, and rigorous accountability on the tireless pursuit of success for our scholars. We prepare them for high school, college and beyond.


BELIEFS
We believe that to prepare every Wyatt scholar for high school, college and beyond, we need to:


  • Prepare 100% of our scholars meet state standards in math, science and language arts
  • Demonstrate the principles of Wyatt Academy’s Code of Conduct (REACH)
  • Provide engaging instruction to help scholars master grade level Common Core and Colorado State Standards in each class
  • Act in a way that demonstrates our collective belief that ALL scholars can and will make excellent academic, social, and emotional progress
  • Maintain high expectations for achievement that respects the ability and worth of each scholar
  • Create a safe school environment where scholars can focus on academics
  • Support Wyatt’s no-tolerance policy towards bullying. When we hear a scholar being put down, we will address it immediately
  • Provide scholars with the necessary support to reach their academic goals
  • Provide scholars with the necessary support to develop and maintain respectful behavior towards the entire school community
  • Provide frequent, consistent feedback to scholars and families about progress towards their academic and behavioral goals
  • Maintain clear communication with our community regarding updates at the school, upcoming events and school news
  • Maintain clear communication with our families about academic and behavioral concerns
  • Maintain an open-door policy for families to voice concerns and to provide feedback
  • Provide multiple opportunities for families to support our efforts through volunteering at the school
  • Use our time at school wisely and ensuring that every minute counts towards supporting our scholars
