Facilities: A satellited urban campus. The Vanderbilt Buildingcontains Upper School classrooms, science laboratories, studentcommons, administrative offices, traditional library, and on-lineresource center. The Arts Center contains visual arts studios, atheatre and black box theatre, vocal music studio, instrumentalmusic studio, academic classrooms, and physics lab. TheCardinal Union Building (CUB) contains seminar rooms andadministrative offices. The Temple Building contains Middle andUpper School classrooms, an on-line resource center, a computerlaboratory, and administrative offices, including the admissionoffice. The gymnasium contains a competition gym, weight room,dance studio, and aerobic exercise mezzanine. Nearby communityplayfields provide outdoor space for outdoor physical educationand sports.
Our commitment to experience-based education is enhanced byour central, urban location which affords ready access to resourcessuch as the Pacific Science Center, public and university libraries,museums, galleries, theaters, arboretums, waterfronts, and parks.

Admission: Based on student visit, parent interview with theDirector of Admission, previous school records, teacherevaluations, and an entrance examination. Most applications

Tuition: Tuition is determined annually by the Board of Trustees.Tuitions for the 2012-13 school year: $25,872 for grades 6-8;$27,156 for grades 9-12. Book fees and an activity fee areadditional.
