Employer Description

Meridian Academy is an urban, project-based, interdisciplinary secondary school. Located in the Boston neighborhood of Jamaica Plain, Meridian serves a racially and economically diverse student body. As an intentionally small school, Meridian's students participate fully in the life of the school and helping to guide its direction and the faculty make decisions about curriculum and school life democratically. 70% of Meridian students come from the neighborhoods of Boston and two-thirds come from public elementary and middle schools. 50% of our families received reduced tuition that matches their finances and 24% have a tuition that is less than a fifth of the maximum.
