KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools is built on the premise that allchildren can learn and achieve at high levels if given the opportunity andsupport to do so. In 2003, KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools opened our first middleschools, KIPP South Fulton Academy and KIPP WAYS Academy. Our goal was tograduate students with the strength of character and academic abilities neededto succeed in life—and in so doing, to prove what is possible in urbaneducation. We promised to do whatever was necessary to help our studentssucceed on the journey to and through college, and we asked them, and theirfamilies, to make the same commitment.<o:p></o:p>
