St. Stephen's Episcopal School, a coeducational boarding/day school for 650 students in grades 6-12, is a caring, diverse community, inclusive of all faiths and grounded in the Episcopal tradition.
Located on a beautiful 400 acre campus on the edge of a vibrant and wonderful city of Austin, and on the edge of the beautiful Hill Country of Texas, St. Stephen's has enjoyed a long and proud legacy and commitment to equity and social justice. Founded in 1950, we were the first coed Episcopal School in the nation and the first integrated boarding school in the South. During the 2011-2012 school year, 36% of the student body are people of color (not including international students) and 90 of our students enrolled are international students. The school and its admistration are firmly committed to supporting its diversity and we invite qualified candidates of color to consider the opprtunity to join our faculty as boarding or day faculty.
