Ross Global Academy Charter School, developed in collaboration with NYU and Ross School, is an innovative New York City Public Charter School which will grow to serve students in grades K-12. RGACS opened in the historic Tweed Courthouse on September 6, 2006 with 160 students in Grades K, 1, 5 and 6. RGACS is committed to providing a holistic education to enable students to develop a global worldview and the skills necessary for success in the 21st century. RGACS will prepare students who are able to think critically and creatively, understand and respect different cultures, become leaders, use technology, live healthy lives and develop a passion for learning.
