New Beginnings Family Academy is a public charter school that fosters a safe and respectful environment where learners become high academic achievers capable of making sound, ethical judgments.
New Beginnings Family Academy believes that it takes collaboration from teachers, family and the larger community to educate a child. To that end, NBFA engages in a partnership to develop students into well-rounded learners poised to become leaders in their world communities. Members of the New Beginnings family share the following core beliefs:
Every child has the potential to succeed.
Every child is entitled to a safe, respectful learning environment.
Every child is unique.
Every child should be literate in the knowledge and application of technology.
A holistic approach to education involves mastery of academics, as well as social and life skills.
Teachers must be flexible in their instruction to reach every child.
Life-long learning is essential for our students, instructional leaders and parents.
Extended school days and a longer school year increase students’ opportunities for academic success.
We believe the road to excellence is paved with erasure marks.
