Job Description/Responsibilities:
Gordon School is seeking a one year leave replacement Spanish teacher who will work on an interdisciplinary team and serve as a student advisor during the 2026-2027 school year.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Middle School students and have an understanding of educational, social-emotional, and developmental stages appropriate for young adolescence. For a complete job description and application notes, please click here.
 
 
Minimum Degree: BA
Certification Required: No
Minimum Experience: 3-5 Years

 
Qualifications:
Possess an undergraduate degree at a minimum
Have experience working with children of this age and with their parents
Possess the physical and mental attributes required for working with Middle School
aged children
High level of proficiency in writing, speaking, reading, and understanding Spanish
Have experience connecting language to cultural understandings of Spanish
speaking countries
Experience teaching Spanish or ESL
Commitment to creating an immersion environment - teaching in Spanish
Appreciate and enjoy working with children of this age
Be energetic, creative, flexible, resilient and open to change and new ideas
