Siena College
Siena College, founded in 1937, is a coeducational, independent, liberal arts college with a Franciscan and Catholic tradition. Situated in the attractive residential community of Loudonville, New York, Siena's 155-acre campus has an ideal location that is easily reached from New York City, Boston, Buffalo, and is in the center of New York State's Capital District, just two miles north of Albany. The College has a full-time enrollment of approximately 2,800 students.

Siena College offers programs of study in the Arts, in the Sciences, and in Business leading to the baccalaureate degree, and provides continuing education programs for the surrounding community. The College also participates with several other educational institutions in cooperative degree programs. Siena is an accredited member of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, and is governed by a Board of Trustees.

The College has adopted a Multicultural Plan, to "express its Franciscan heritage and show how it intersects with both Siena's internal culture and a broader, global milieu. The intention is to create a community that reflects the ethnic and cultural richness of the earth's people in its members and programs".
