A dynamic and academically rigorous institution, Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences is a private, accredited, four-year college focusing exclusively on the field of health care. Offering associate, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, as well as a number of certificate programs, PA College provides professional development for health care workers throughout their career. Located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the College attracts a select group of more than 1,400 students to study with faculty who are experts in their specialty areas.
PA College has been recognized by The Chronicle of Higher Education as one of the “Great Colleges to Work For” for four years – most recently, in categories such as work-life balance and supervisor/department chair relationships. The College offers competitive wages and great benefits.
Over the next two years, PA College will have a historic opportunity to establish a single, unified campus which builds far more than walls. In 2016, the College will relocate to a new, 24.7-acre campus - an opportunity to further PA College’s learner-centered purpose, as well as collaboration and innovation.
The new campus infuses technology and design that supports collaborative learning and easily reconfigurable spaces that allow for creative use of space. Cutting edge technology will be woven into the new environment – from computers and cameras to simulation and learning arts laboratories, examination rooms and operating suites. A health suite will be constructed for student and employee wellness exams, immunizations and screenings. A wellness area will include a fitness center and rejuvenation space for learners and staff to “practice what we preach” in embracing mind-body wellness.
