Trinity Episcopal Day School on Asylum Hill is dedicated to the nurturing of a creative spirit in all of its students. The Trinity Community believes that the artistic disciplines enhance the academic ones and that vigorous, intensive instruvction in the arts is essential to the development of the whole child. By exploring the performing and fine arts, students develop the capacity for creative, critical thinking, problem-solving, precise expression, and the ability to make connections between diverse realms of inquiry. Therefore, artistic and musical instruction are integrated into the overall educational program.
Concurrent with its scholastic goals, the School presents a community where children are inspired to develop their spiritual life in an atmosphere of mutual respect and reverence. Worship and spiritual formation that honors all traditions are a part of the school's communal life and are carried out in a spirit of hospitality and inclusion within the context of the School's Episcopal identity.
