This job fair is designed for experienced and aspiring teachers from all backgrounds who are interested in working at progressive schools at the elementary and middle school levels. Representatives from these schools will be available to discuss progressive education and employment opportunities for the 2012-2013 school year. Several candidate development workshops will also be offered.
This event is free and open to the public. Prior registration is strongly recommended but not required. By submitting your resume ahead of time, schools will have the opportunity to review your candidacy before the event.

Designed to advance increased representation of individuals of color within St. Louis Independent Schools. The Independent Schools of St. Louis (ISSL) is sponsoring a Job Fair, which will give prospective teaching candidates opportunities to meet representatives from the St. Louis area’s independent schools to discuss life at their schools. These private schools, in accordance with their stated educational missions, serving students from pre-school through high school, are looking to provide insight into different cultural and/or educational methodologies by diversifying their faculty and administrative teams. Everyone is welcome to attend; however, the Hiring Fair is specifically seeking talented college seniors, graduates, and professionals of color.
The participating schools of the Teacher Hiring Fair To Promote Diversity admit students and hire teachers of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at these schools.
