On Friday February 1, 2013 our Board implemented a new policy that may or may not affect some of our Member Schools.
Nemnet will no longer allow 3rd Party Recruiters to access its Minority Candidate Database or the ability to Post employment opportunities to our website and or Mobile App.
3rd Party recruiters, as defined by our Board, are schools or organizations that sponsor or conduct recruiting events, forums and or career fairs that enable others schools and organizations to meet, interview and hire job seekers. In short, Nemnet can not permit its Member Schools to use its platform or database to supply candidates for their events, when other schools [Members or non Members] are involved or participate.
However, 3rd Party recruiters wishing to advertise and promote their event[s] will be permitted to do so through our online Calendar of Events.
If you fall under the definition of 3rd Party Recruiter, no action on your part is required at this time. Membership renewals will require all schools to acknowledge and adhere to this policy change, as part of our Terms of Use.
